BMC Ophthalmology is a prominent peer-reviewed journal published by Springer Nature, a world leading research, education and professional publisher. The article has the title of “A short peptide derived from pigment epithelial-derived factor exhibits an angioinhibitory effect” and declared “the findings described in this manuscript have been patented and licensed to Oculus Biomed Pty Ltd. (OBM), based in Melbourne, Australia”.
