May 24, 2023Oculus Biomed Limited (“OBM”) is pleased to announce that the research data which covers OBM’s OBM-1701, its leading drug candidate for the treatment of wet-AMD, has been published on the latest issue of the journal of BMC Ophthalmology released on 22nd February 2022. BMC Ophthalmology is a prominent peer-reviewed journal published by Springer Nature, a world leading research, education and professional publisher. The article has the title of “A short peptide derived from pigment epithelial-derived factor exhibits an angioinhibitory effect” and declared “the findings described in this manuscript have been patented and licensed to Oculus Biomed Pty Ltd. (OBM), based in Melbourne, Australia”.
