Oculus Biomed Limited (“OBM”) is pleased to announce that it has entered an Agreement with Centre for Eye Research Australia (“CERA”), in Melbourne, Victoria State, Australia. Established in 1996, CERA ranks in the world’s top 5 institution for ophthalmology research, CERA is an international leader in eye research and Australia’s only designated World Health Organization (“WHO”) Collaborating Centre for the Prevention of Blindness, working to reduce the global burden of vision impairment. A group of medical research experts, led by the Professor Mark Daniell, Professor Greg Dusting and Dr. Karl Brown, will conduct commissioned research on OBM’s Corneal Scaffold Endothelialisation Project for improving the successful rates by keratoplasty.
