Oculus Biomed Limited (“OBM”) is pleased to announce the grant of the USA Patent which covers its OBM-1701. The term of the Chinese patent extend its patent protection to April 2036 and covers OBM-1701 and its analogues and their use to treat disorders involving neovascularisation, including eye diseases such as wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME). Corresponding patent applications have already been granted in 4 other countries, including, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan, and are pending in 12 other countries and territories.
